Design proposals for an invitation to the public defense of a PhD.
(On the subject: "The physiological background of the “altruistic” sterility
in workers of the honeybee Apis mellifera").

Virusses play an important role in this matter, and the PhD candidate (now doctor, indeed!) wanted some pop-art influences… so I gladly combined these aspects here.

The invitations had to be printed on a regular A4 printer so a simple american standard format was preferred.
The third design eventually was chosen.
